Tips for Dealing with Common Dental Emergencies
- Broken or missing crown or filling: Save the restoration if possible. Do not attempt to glue or reattach it yourself.
- Broken or knocked-out tooth: Contact us immediately. Handle the tooth by the crown, rinse gently if needed, and store it in milk or saliva. The best chance of saving the tooth is within one hour.
- Tooth pain: Try brushing or flossing around the area to remove debris. Rinse with warm water or a mild salt solution.
- Broken dentures or bridge: Save the appliance and bring it to your appointment. Some can be repaired depending on the damage.
